Neillsville News (15 April 2015)

Carla Jo Schneider and her daughter, Addysen, of Green Bay visited her parents, Richard and Patricia Schleifer, for a few days. While here, she also had supper with her sibling and family.

The Granton/Chili Senior Citizens held their monthly meeting April 9 with 20 members attending. Following the potluck lunch, Barb Freagon of the Clark County ADRC office gave an interesting talk about help available to senior citizen members.

A memorial will be given to the Granton Library in memory of Mildred Todd. Milly served as the treasurer for many years and arrived early each month to make the coffee.

Wayne Garbisch furnished the ice cream for the meeting. Members were invited to the Roast Beef Dinner Sunday, April 26, at the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton, and to the rummage sale May 7, 8 and 9 at the church. The next meeting will be held at noon May 14. Each member is to bring a dish to be shared for the potluck lunch. Visitors are welcomed. President, Monica Mulligan, needs to find another speaker for May.
