Telford, Mary (20 OCT 1902 – 3 OCT 1965)
Father H.L. Crubel officiated at a requiem Mass said at Holy Rosary Catholic
Church yesterday morning, Wednesday, Oct. 6, for Mrs. George Telford of route 1,
Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert and Donald Telford, Leland Biddle, Robert Hendrichs,
Kenneth Hendrichs and Marvin Duss.
Mrs. Telford, 62, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield,
where she had been hospitalized. She had been under medical treatment for
several months for a lingering illness.
The former Mary Hendrichs was born Oct. 20, 1902 at Faribault, Minn. Her
marriage to George Telford took place Feb. 16, 1926 at Stanley. The couple lived
at Thorp until 1934, when they moved to a farm south of Owen.
Mrs. Telford was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Owen.
In addition to her husband, she leaves three sons, Alfred, Spencer, James,
Milwaukee; and William, Owen; four brothers, Ted Hendrichs and Frank Hendrichs,
Withee; Anton Hendrichs, Sheboygan; and John Hendrichs, Thorp; three sisters,
Mrs. Charles (Lena) Biddle, and Mrs. Robert (Willa) Missling, Thorp; and Mrs.
Joe Hendrichs, Janesville; and six grandchildren.
