Miss Judy Ann Doris Klemetson became the bride of Harold Klimpke on Friday,
Sept. 24th, 1965, at 1:20 p.m. at the Bessemer Courthouse at Bessemer, Mich.
Judge McManman performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Klemetson of Curtiss (Clark
Co., Wis.) and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Klimpke of Colby.
Both young people have been employed and living in Racine.
The bride wore a white street length dress designed with a satin long sleeved
top and crepe and taffeta skirt. Her small white pillbox hat had a short veil
and she wore a corsage of red carnations.
Attending the groom was Larry Klemetson, brother of the bride of Curtiss.
A reception and dance was held at the home of the bride’s parents in Curtiss
that evening at which 60 guests attended. Delmar Augustine of Curtiss furnished
the music.
The bride attended the Abbotsford High School and has been employed as a
waitress in Racine. The groom is employed in Racine as a foundry worker. The
newlyweds will make their future home at 1639 Douglas Avenue, Racine.
Guests from out of town attending the wedding reception were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
Uhlig and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Able of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. George Hargraves of
Athens; Mr. and Mrs. John Suda of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Uhlig and Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Uhlig, Abbotsford; Mrs. Paul Eckes of Sherwood; Mr. and Mrs.
Allen Dunow, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dunow and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ridpath, Owen; and
Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Rohland, Withee.
