Rossow, Charley J. (8 JAN 1880 – 15 OCT 1965)
Charley J. Rossow, 85, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died Friday at Memorial Hospital
in Neillsville.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal,
with Rev. A.M. Moldenhauer officiating. Burial was made in the Greenwood
Cemetery.
Mr. Rossow as born Jan. 8, 1880 in Germany. He was married at Greenwood Aug.
14,1908, to the former Tina Larson. They farmed near Greenwood until 1910 when
they moved to a farm in the town of York (Clark Co.). Three years ago they moved
to Loyal.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Schmidt, Granton; Mrs.
Lila Dankemyer, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Gilbert Bremmer, Milwaukee; six sons, Roy,
Neillsville; Charles Jr., Owen; Verlin and Glenn, Loyal; Gilbert, Milwaukee; and
Mervin, Eugene, Oregon; 39 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
