Saturday night the Owen firemen sat down at their 14th annual dinner party,
which was served at the Legion Hall in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). Seated at the
Swiss steak dinner served by members of the American Legion Auxiliary were
forty-four persons, including the firemen’s wives, city officials and other
guests.
Social activities highlighted the evening’s festivities, but during a short
program, John Lukowicz, a member of the department for 22 years and who recently
resigned, was presented with an engraved wrist watch in token of his
contribution to the department by his fellow firemen.
