Harvey, Lulu Lee (1882 – 21 FEB 1966)
Mrs. Wells F. Harvey, 83, wife of the publisher of the Clark County Press,
Neillsville died Monday at her home in Winter Haven, Fla., after a long illness.
Funeral services will be on Thursday afternoon there.
The former Lulu Lee Robinson was born in 1882 in White Pigeon, Mich., attended
Olivet College, Olivet, Mich. She was a music teacher before her marriage in
1904.
The Harvey’s came here (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) in 1938 when he bought the
weekly newspaper. For the past 10 years they have spent most of their time in
Michigan and Florida.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert Hancox,
Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Robert Lux, Harrison, N.Y.; four sons, e. William Harvey,
Phoenix, Ariz.; Robert, Neillsville, editor of the press; Jack, Madison; Dr. F.
Wells Jr., Denver, Colo.; 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
