Leo J. Lukowicz, 46, owner and operator of the Lukowicz Photo Studio at Colby
since 1947, died of a heart attack Monday afternoon at New Orleans, La., where
he and Mrs. Lukowicz have been vacationing.
Reports said he was driving a car when the attack occurred, and that the vehicle
halted after striking a parked car.
Services will be conducted Friday at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby. Rev.
John B. Pinion will officiate. Burial will be made in the Colby Memorial
Cemetery.
Mr. Lukowicz was born Jan. 16, 1920 in Colby, and had lived here his entire life

His marriage to Tess Pillow Vidrien took place June 6, 1946, at Reno, Nev. They
had made their home in Colby since August 1947, when he took over his father’s
photograph studio, established in 1901.
Among the survivors mourning his loss is a brother, John Lukowicz, of Owen.
