Kovar, Adolph (15 SEP 1883 – 21 FEB 1966)
Funeral services for Adolph Kovar were conducted this morning at St. Stanislau
Catholic Church at Lublin with Father H. Trinka reading the final rites. Burial
was made at the parish cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were David McVey, Eddy Judycki, Eddie Wolowiak, Art
Hanson, Art Erickson and John Slobodnik.
The deceased was born Sept. 15, 1883 in Poland and passed away at the age of 82
years, 5 months and 6 days, on Feb. 21, 1966 at the Havenet Nursing Home, Owen,
where he had been resident the past three years.
He farmed in the town of Hixon for 25 years and then moved to a farm in the town
of Maplehurst, where he farmed for another 20 years before making his home at
the Havenet.
Kovar, who was single, is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lucy Johnson of Sonoma,
Calif., and a niece, Mrs. Holly of Lake Geneva.
