Watson, Pearl (25 DEC 1888 – 31 JAN 1966)
Mrs. Pearl (Boone) Watson, 77, of 653 40th, died Monday evening, Jan. 31, 1966
in St. Benedict’s Hospital, South Ogden, Utah, of causes incident to age.
Mrs. Watson was born Dec. 25, 1888 in Rock Rapids, Ia., a daughter of Albert and
Alphafretta (Asper) Boone. She was reared and educated in Rock Rapids.
After her marriage she lived in New England, N.D., seven years, until 1923 when
they moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), where they made their home until 1931.
They then moved to the Frenchtown area where they lived until 1957, when they
moved to Utah.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Horace (Jeanette) Cromwell, Roy;
Mrs. Sam (Lorraine) Sefren, South Ogden; three grandchildren; one brother, Guy
Boone, Lancaster, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. M.A. Ritter, LaPorte City, Ia.; Mrs.
Benita Peuman, Van Nuys, Calif. One brother and one sister preceded her in
death, Willis Boone of Salem, Ore.; and Maize Boon of Rock Rapids, Ia.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 2 in the chapel of Flowers Mortuary,
with Rev. Robert DeLancey of the First Methodist Church, officiating.
