One student from the Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) area earned academic honors for the
past semester at Platteville State University.
Based on a system of four grade points for each A, three for each B, etc., high
honors go to students who earn 3.75 or better, and honors go to those in the
3.25 – 3.74 area. The honors list contains 430 names, with 95 receiving high
honors, and 335 receiving honors.
Twenty-five earned all A’s, or a 4.0 average. Among those achieving the honor
roll at Platteville is Helen M. Vater, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin J.
Eloranta, route 1, Owen.
