Technical Sergeant Clyde F. Peissig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin C. Peissig of
Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), has been awarded the U.S. Air Force Commendation
Medal at Grand Forks AFB, N.D.
Sergeant Peissig, a missile analyst, received the medal for meritorious service
at Fairchild AFB, Wash. He was cited for his part in the unmatched record of
excellence established by his squadron.
The sergeant now is assigned at Grand Forks with the strategic air command,
America’s long range nuclear bomber and missile force.
Sergeant Peissig is a graduate of Abbotsford High School.
His wife, Beverly, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore R. Grammer of route
1, Colby.
