Ciszewski, Anthony L. (1934? - 7 March 2015)

Anthony L. Ciszewski, age 80, of Hegewisch, IL, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2015. Anthony was retired from LTV Steel Company after 30 years of service. Anthony was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Anthony was the beloved husband of the late Bernadette Ciszewski (nee Zdrojewski); loving father of Deborah M. Ciszewski, Donna M. Ciszewski, and Donald L. Ciszewski; cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Kristin Ciszewski; dearest brother of Bernard (Ruth) Ciszewski, Dolly (late Edmund) Lobacz, Rosie (Pete) Horban, Stanley (Sue) Ciszewski, late Joseph (Lana) Ciszewski, and Robert (Darcy) Ciszewski.

Tony attended Poppe and Oakland Grade Schools (Reseburg area) and was a graduate of Withee High School, 1954. He moved to Chicago after graduation and made Chicago his home. He enjoyed taking trips to Wisconsin every summer to visit relatives and friends, and to do a lot of fishing.

Visitation was on Friday, March 13, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch, 13300 S. Houston Avenue, Chicago, IL 60633, and on Satruday, March 14, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Prayer Service commenced at 10:00 a.m. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101.

Tony will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
