Mrs. Axel Sorenson sold her farm to Warren Lewis of Spencer, who will move in April 1. She in turn purchased the home of Myron Anderson in Withee.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emil H. Hansen in Owen, Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hawks, returned home the first of last week, after visiting his brother at a hospital in Madison. They also visited their daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Meier and family in Menomonee Falls, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Reichertz and daughter in Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. John Doroghazi in Madison.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Mertens and family and Mrs. Alva Mertens visited the Gilbert Voelker home in Thorp Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hansen and Tracy spent Sunday at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hansen and daughters in Minneapolis, Minn.

A special meeting of officers of the Clark County homemakers clubs met at the home Mrs. Ralph Miller Monday afternoon to make plans for an achievement day program to be held at the Owen school this spring.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Dickenson of Menomonee Falls visited the homes of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Dickenson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Nick LePage of Owen.

Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Wall visited the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Wall Jr. and family in Eau Claire Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Jalling transacted business in Wausau Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gust Braun entertained relatives Friday, March 4 in honor of Mr. Braun’s 85th birthday anniversary.

Mrs. Hans Clausen, who has been a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital for two weeks, has returned to her home.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost visited Mrs. Hugo Walters, who is a patient at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley Sunday afternoon.

Visitors the past week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rohland were their daughter, Marcia, and girlfriend, Miss Patricia Moore, students at Concordia College in St. Paul.

Terry Wenzel and friend, Miss Judy Lyn Hansen, students at Stout University in Menomonie, arrived Friday to visit the home of his mother, Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel and daughters, Sandy and Debbie, until Monday evening.

Ronald Johnson, who attended Whitewater State University, spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harris Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dargy and family moved their household goods to Owen Wednesday.

Mrs. Ray Svenson is spending several days visiting her mother and relatives in Illinois this week.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Catura of Marshfield at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Friday, March 4. Mrs. Catura is the former Mary Nielsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nielsen.

Word has been received of the death of Miss Lois Redman of Fargo, N.D., niece of Mrs. Mable Vogeler, who has been out there for several months helping to care for Lois, who has many friend in the area, having visited here on several occasions.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost attended the golden wedding dinner of Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Mauel in Owen Sunday.
