Burkholder, Cheryl Dawn (Weaver) (30 NOV 1989 - 28 APR 2015)

Cheryl Dawn Burkholder, age 25, of Spencer, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 while giving birth to her son, Bentley Kade.

Funeral services for Cheryl and her son, Bentley will be held at 2PM on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Spencer. Pastor Luke Stoltzfus will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethany Mennonite Cemetery in Stratford.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday at the church in Spencer from 2PM until 4PM and then from 6PM until 8PM and again on Sunday at the church in Spencer from 1PM until time of services.

Cheryl was born on November 30, 1989 in Quarryville, PA to Nelson and Melinda (Stelfox) Weaver. The Weaver family moved to WI in 1995. She graduated from Bethany Mennonite School in Stratford. After graduation she was employed at her parents' business, Maranatha Market. Cheryl was united in marriage to Jason Burkholder on May 7, 2011 in Angola, IN. A son, Braxton Wade, was born to them on September 18, 2013.

She was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed cooking delicious meals for everyone and spending time with family and friends. She lived her life to the fullest and had a friendly personality that everyone enjoyed. Oh, how she will be missed!

Survivors include her husband Jason Burkholder and her son Braxton Wade Burkholder both of Spencer; her parents Nelson and Melinda Weaver of Tomah; her maternal grandmother Mary Louise Stelfox of Spring Grove, PA; her paternal grandparents Lester and Anna Weaver of Quarryville, PA; one sister Gwendolyn Rose (Wendall) Geigley of Montrose, CO; two nieces: Amber Nicole and Megan Rose Geigley both of Montrose, CO; her mother-in-law Esther Burkholder of Sarasota, FL; along with many other relatives and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her son Bentley, her maternal grandfather Donald Gladstone Stelfox and father-in-law Earl Burkholder.
