Last Saturday, a deal was made between James LeBell of Unity and E. C. Clark,
editor of this paper, whereby Mr. Clark assumed control of the Marathon County
Register of Unity, and the Spencer Record of Spencer.
This will give the owner of this paper a chain of six newspapers, three of them
in Clark County and three in Marathon County. Plans as to operating these papers
have not yet been completed, but more definite announcements will be made in
this paper at a later date.
We invite the public to call at anytime at the office of the Sentinel Publishing
Co., Abbotsford. We believe we have one of the best equipped plants in central
Wisconsin for turning out newspapers, as well as job printing. A visit to this
office will surprise you, no doubt, as the ordinary person has very little
conception as to the investment necessary in operating newspapers of today.
Let The Sentinel Publishing Co., serve you.
