Hart, Patricia M. (Buckett) (7 DEC 1929 - 24 JAN 2009)
Patricia M. Hart, 79, town of Rietbrock, died Saturday, January 24, 2009 at
Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
She was born December 7, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late John
and Dorothy (Rahlins) Buckett. On August 2, 1969 she married Gregory Hart in
Chicago, Illinois. He survives.
Prior to her marriage, she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank and enjoyed
traveling. After the couple married, Pat farmed with Greg on the family farm in
the town of Rietbrock and raised their family. In most recent years she
treasured time spent with her grandchildren making puzzles and playing dice and
card games. She loved to cook and was well known for preparing many wonderful
meals. Pat was also very crafty, she enjoyed painting, drawing, crocheting,
knitting and sewing.
Besides being a member of the Rietbrock Homemakers Club, she was also a very
active member of the Holy Family PCCW. Pat enjoyed working in the cafeteria at
Athens High School.
Survivors include her husband, Greg, town of Rietbrock, one daughter, Laura
(Kent) Kottke, Athens; one son, David Hart, Greensville, Texas; one
granddaughter and one grandson, Amber and Trevor Kottke, Athens; one sister,
Kathy (Ray) Hart, Darien, Illinois; and a good friend, Julianne Kalata, Lemont,
Illinois; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant sister, Joyce; and
one sister, Sister Joan Buckett, B.V.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 28, 2009, at
Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Rev. Charles Hiebl and Deacon Leroy
Knauf will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on
Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and
again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
There will be a parish vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Athens
funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Online
