Herman Steffan had laid the foundation for a new house that he will build just
north of his present home.
Two hundred boys have entered the corn growing contest. Boys make it three
hundred and go in to win.
A blind man amused quite a crowd near the post office Saturday receiving pennies
and nickels for violin music and singing.
