Miller, Josephine (22 March 1892 - 20 October 1973)

A native of the Town of Grant, Mrs. Otto (Josephine) Miller of Rt. 3 Neillsville, died Saturday, October 20, at the age of 81. Funeral services were to be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiating. Burial was to follow in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.

Born March 22, 1892, to Anthony and Jessie (Bleasner) Lezotte, Mrs. Miller was educated in schools in the Town of Grant. Her marriage to Otto Miller took place November 18, 1920 in Neillsville. Following their marriage, she and her husband farmed in the Town of Pine Valley until her recent illness. Mrs. Miller was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and of its Ladies Aid Society.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Lorraine) Feyen of Moline, Il., and Mrs. George (Jean) Borden of Davenport, Ia.; a son, Harley Miller of Neillsville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Orville (Florence) Evanson of Wausau; a sister, Mrs. Maude Hartel of Ft. Atkinson; and by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
