Nemitz, Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Silver - 16 October 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nemitz, Rt.2 Neillsville, were honored October 13 in observance of their Silver wedding anniversary with a gathering at the Walter Schmidt home on Rt. 2. The event was planned by the Nemitz children, Mrs. Valerie Kinnick and Carl Nemitz, Jr., and by Mrs. Ellen Schmidt.

The Nemitzes were married October 16, 1948, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville and have resided her since that time. He is a native of the area; Mrs. Nemitz is a native of Racine.

Among those attending the anniversary observance were the following from out of town; Mrs. Martha Gregory, Mrs. Meta Lang, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wirkuty and family, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Gregory and family, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Gregory, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ireland, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Polzin and his mother and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Polzin, all of Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Meihack, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. William Brzezinski, Sr., Greenwood.

Altogether, approximately 75 persons were present.
