Fremont (12 Sep 1918)
A surprise party was given for Ruth Angel at her home Wednesday evening as she
left for Grand Rapids Thursday to attend school. All spent a pleasant evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hill spent Sunday with C.J. Bigelow and family.
Luther Lindow cut corn for Edwin Meisner Thursday.
C.J. Bigelow and Edwin Meisner had threshers Tuesday.
D. Angel and Willie and Paul Beiler did their threshing Wednesday.
Luther Lindow attended the Sidney Free sale.
One of Edwin Meisner’s horses cut its foot quite badly in a wire fence. They had
to call a veterinary from Granton to take up an artery.
Mrs. Grabe is suffering with a very lame arm.
