South Pine Valley (19 Sep 1918)
Our school is Dist. No. 1 opened Monday with Miss Helen Marx as teacher.
Mrs. John Epding’s barn, which was destroyed by fire last summer, is now being
replaced by a fine new structure, which was raised last Tuesday.
Florence Zastrow called at the Eggerman home last Sunday.
Loraine Broiher of this vicinity resumed her duties in Neillsville High School
Monday.
Wm. Naedler has erected a new silo, which is now being filled by Diske brothers
of Levis.
Chas. Worden and family returned from a visit to the southern part of the state
last week.
Mr. Keip of Fox Lake, Wis., has purchased the place known as the George Markham
farm and will take possession soon.
