North Grant (19 Sep 1918)
Mr. and Mrs. H. Scheeler entertained relatives from Abbotsford Sunday night.
School began in the Kurth Dist. Monday with Mabel Winegarden as teacher.
A great many of the pupils here are attending school either at Granton,
Neillsville or the German school.
Donald Kier has been cutting corn for several of the neighbors last week and
this, as most of the corn has been frosted.
Little Marvin Worchel, who was quite ill, is better.
Harold Kier now rides his bicycle to school.
Lewis Ayers, who has been at the Neillsville Hospital for some time, is gaining.
Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Schroeder returned last week from their visit at Weyauwega
