Couillard, Jay (Found Guilty and Sentenced for Murder – 26 Sep 1918)
Fort Atkinson – Jay Couillard, charged with murdering his young wife in this
city on Aug. 12, by cutting her throat from ear to ear with a jack knife, was
sentenced to the state prison at Waupun for life. He pleaded guilty before Judge
Grimm at Jefferson.
