Ratsch, Lola Jean (Marriage - 26 October 1973)
Marriage vows were exchanged October 26, at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, by
Lola Jean Ratsch and Richard A. Carolfi. The Rev. Roland Roehrs officiated at
the 7 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Saibold, Rt. 1
Neillsville, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Carolfi, Rt. 3, Stratford. A
dinner at Bali Hai Supper Club was followed by a reception and dance at the
Spencer Municipal Hall.
The bride’s empire-style gown of aqua crepe was complimented by an arrangement
of white roses and baby’s breath. A ball of multi-colored chrysanthemums
accented the cream empire-style gown worn by Miss Linda Saibold of Milwaukee,
maid-of-honor.
David Kohn served as bestman and Gary Carolfi, as usher. Both are of rural
Stratford.
“O Perfect Love’ and “The Lord’s Prayer’ was sung by Miss Elsie Garbisch. Mrs.
Leland Garbisch was the organist.
The new Mrs. Carolfi is a graduate of Loyal High School. Her husband, a
Stratford High School graduate, is employed by a Marshfield firm. They will make
their home on Rt. 1 Granton, following their return from a northern Wisconsin
wedding trip.
