Chosen from Owen-Withee High to represent them in the Eau Claire "Queen of the
Springtime" fashion review was Miss Candace Kaz, Owen's 1965 homecoming queen
and a sophomore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kaz of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).
Each fall and spring the Eau Claire merchants sponsor a fashion show on TV and
girls from the surrounding areas are invited to participate as models on WEAU.
In the Tuesday night TV showing twenty-six girls modeled dresses, coats and
formals. Candace modeled a dress for Grayson's of Eau Claire.
