Early Saturday morning Pvt. Dale Anderson arrived via bus from Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., where he has just completed eight weeks of basic training, and will enjoy a week furlough at home. His fiancée, Miss Judy Shilts, came home also to spend the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Anderson and family, and Judy Shilts were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Alfred Gehrke. The occasion being the confirmation of Linda Gehrke.

Sunday afternoon Pvt. Dale Anderson, Judy Shilts, and Darlene Anderson drove to Merrill, where they visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bauman and family.

Mrs. John Cieslik returned home Monday after spending several days at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Cieslik and family, in Rothschild.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carlsen of Sheldon spent the weekend at the homes of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thorwald Carlsen and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Blazer.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Olson of St. Paul visited the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Olson, over the weekend.

Mrs. Robert Danford of Adell was a guest at the home of Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel Thursday evening. On Friday she returned to her home in Adell with her husband, who was here in the interest of Foremost Company.

Kathy and Clarence Jackson of Stratford spent the weekend at the home of their grandmother, Mrs. Adelle Jackson.

Over the weekend Mrs. Julianna Frietag of Chicago visited the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bill King and family.

Mrs. Laura Reinganz and Emil Greenwald of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Louis Buss of Clintonville, arrived Saturday to visit relatives and friends, and with their mother, a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Mrs. Lorraine Albert, Mary Novak, Joanne Sorensen, Phyllis Wenzel and Hazel LePage, bowled in WSAU invitational tournament at Hub City Lanes in Marshfield on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Segerstrom returned home Monday afternoon from Hustler where they visited their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Segerstrom and daughters, Sunday.

Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rabska Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Rabska and family of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rabska and daughter Molly, and Mrs. John Marking of Owen.

Mrs. Louis Buss of Clintonville, Mrs. Laura Reinganz of Milwaukee visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rabska, on Monday.

Mrs. Bernard Auberg and Mrs. Martin Paulsen visited Mrs. Phillips Cieslik, Mrs. Emma Bruchert and Mrs. Mable Miolund, patients at St. Joseph's Hospital, on Thursday.

Mrs. Adelle Jackson attended the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Dan McLaren in Milwaukee on Saturday, April 16.

James Bakke of Aurora, Ill. arrived home Thursday evening and visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Uno Bakke until Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rasmussen went to St. Louis Saturday, where they will visit their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. David Thierl and new granddaughter.

Glenn Buchanan, who spent he winter months in Tampa, Fla., and Tom Haas, who has been visiting his son and family in Clearwater, Fla., returned home Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brandt of Wausau and Arnold Brandt visited their aunt, Mrs. Emma Bruchert at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on Sunday.

Mrs. Mable Moilund, who has been a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital, returned home Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Petke, St. Paul, visited relatives in the area over the weekend.

H.R. Haire of Minneapolis spent the weekend at his home here.

Supper guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thorwald Carlsen Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carlsen and son of Sheldon, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Braun and Mr. and Mrs. James Carlsen of Owen.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schnoor visited the Schnorr summer home near Hayward Sunday.

Visitors Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hansen were their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hansen and daughter of Minneapolis.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Beck and sons of Minneapolis visited the home of her mother, Mrs. Veda Mertens Sunday.
