Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wentzel returned from Anaheim, Calif., where they spent three
months visiting at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Kermit Lang and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Long left Tuesday for Racine, Manitowoc, Chicago and
Dubuque, Ia., where they will visit relatives for an indefinite time.
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gosse spent Saturday and Sunday visiting at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Clifford Gayken, Superior and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stacker
and family at Ashland.
Mrs. Mary Fahrenbach and Bertha Kraut accompanied Miss Delores Lieders of
Abbotsford to St. Paul Saturday, where they are visiting at the Eugene Kraut
home and at the Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fussner home.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Reinwandt of Wis. Rapids and Mrs. Viola Sill of Marshfield
were Sunday guests at the Mary Fahrenbach and Marge Wiedmond home.
Walter Degnitz, Lyle Johnson, Donald Kraut, Lionel Schiszik, Lester Krueger,
Fritz Laabs and Glenn Frane went smelt fishing at Ashland Friday evening. They
returned home with a good catch of fish.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thompson left Monday for Appleton where they will visit
several days at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Rev. and Mrs. Gordon
Sorensen and family.
Romie Schultz, John Boss, Gary Schmidt and Brian Schultz accompanied a bus load
of young Lutherans to St. Paul Saturday, where they toured Concordia College
campus, returning home that evening.
Janet Martin of Gresham is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kobs.
Ernest Augustine of St. Paul was a weekend guests at the home of Herbert and
Martha Buss.
Sunday dinner guests at the Paul Kramas home in observance of the birthday of
Mrs. Kramas were Wendy Wojner of Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. James Meyer and
son of Dorchester.
Mrs. Jennie Fjalkiewicz of Stanley is visiting several days at the Albert
Rohland home.
