Army Pvt. Bruce R. Meyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Meyer, Dorchester (Clark Co.,
Wis.), completed a combat engineer course under the Reserved Enlistment program
at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.
During the seven week course, Meyer was trained in the construction and repair
of roads, railroads, and bridges. He also received instruction in demolitions
and mine warfare.
The 18 year old soldier is a 1965 graduate of Colby High School.
