US Marine Capt. Charles Kuhnmuench IV, an Edgar native, is part of the United
States Joint Task Force 305 which has been deployed to Kathmandu, Nepal.
Kuhnmuench is a UH-1Y Huey helicopter pilot.
The task force has responded at the request of the Nepalese government to
provide relief supplies after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal April
25. The country has since been hit by a May 5 aftershock.
