Pleasant Ridge (1 November 1973)
Mrs. Anita Slocum of Menomonie and Miss Marion Hantke visited with Mrs. Slocum’s
brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kuechenmeister, in Neillsville,
and with other relatives and friends in the area over the weekend.
Pleasant Ridge Homemakers met last week with Mrs. Lamoine Anason.
Mrs. Clarion Counsell returned home Friday after spending several weeks in
Platteville with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Pagenkopf.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Drescher planned to leave this week to make their home in
the state of Washington. Their son, Jerry, of Tacoma, Wa., has been helping them
with preparations for the move, and their daughter, Mrs. Larry Fitzmaurice and
baby, Doyle of River Falls also spent several days last week with them. An
auction held at the Drescher farm Saturday was well attended.
Weekend guests at the David Eisentraut home were Mr. and Mrs. James Eisentraut
and daughters of Sterling, Il.
