Eskildsen, Virginia Kay (Marriage - 20 October 1973)
Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Hribar, who were married October 20, at Our Savior’s
Lutheran Church in Greenwood, are living at 209 S. Main St. in Greenwood after a
short wedding trip to La Crosse. The Rev. David Wenger officiated at the
ceremony for the former Miss Virginia Kay Eskildsen daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Glen Eskildsen, Rt. 1 Loyal, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Hribar, Rt. 3
Greenwood.
The bride’s gown of nylon velour over taffeta, fashioned by her mother, was
accented by a bouquet of white mums and orange roses. Her full length veil was
held by a matching headpiece.
Suzanne Stewart, maid of honor, and Sue Eskildsen of Loyal and Jean Hribar of
Milwaukee, bridesmaids, appeared in empire-waist gowns of orange knit styled
with beige lace trim. They carried baskets of orange, rust and yellow
carnations.
The groom’s attendants included Fred Hribar as bestman and Merle Eskildsen,
Loyal, and Ed Petkosek, Eau Claire, as groomsmen.
Douglas Moretz of Springbrook, nephew of the bride, and Christian Kay Hribar,
niece of the groom, acted respectively as ringbearer and flower girl.
A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
The new Mrs. Hribar is employed by the Clark County Department of Social
Services and her husband is employed by a county cheese factory.
