Mueller, Marlene M.(Marriage - 27 October 1973)
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth L. Hanson, who were married October 27 in Curtiss by the
Rev. Roger Tellock, are making their home on Rt. 1 Owen. The bride, the former
Marlene M. Mueller, is the daughter of Chester Kotas of Marshfield and the late
Mrs. Kotas. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Hanson, Rt. 1 Owen.
A cascade bouquet of yellow and white carnations complimented the pale yellow
bridal gown accented with daisy trim. A fingertip veil was caught by a Juliet
cap.
Bridal attendants included Mrs. Ronald Sperling, Withee, as matron of honor and
Cheryl Kotas, Marshfield, as junior bridesmaid. They wore A-line gowns in shades
of blue and mint green with matching veils, and carried long-stemmed carnations
to match their gowns.
Ronald Sperling served as bestman and Randy Seliskar, Greenwood, as groomsman.
A supper for immediate families was served at the home of the groom’s parents.
The Owen Legion Hall was the setting later for a reception and dance.
The new Mrs. Hanson attended Marshfield schools and her husband graduated from
Owen-Withee High School. He is employed in Abbotsford.
