Schreiner, David "Dave" A. (21 MAY 1957 - 2 JUN 2015)
David "Dave" A. Schreiner, 58, Wausau, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June
2, 2015.
He was born May 21, 1957 in Wausau, the son of Andrew and Luella (Janke)
Schreiner of Athens.
On June 18, 1977, he married Janice Literski at Holy Family Catholic Church,
Poniatowski. She survives.
After high school, Dave became self-employed in the logging business for 15
years and later worked as an agent for Cellcom. He went on to follow his dream
of building an excavating business called Schreiner Construction, LLC where he
could live out his passion of helping people with their projects and spending
time with his son who also works for the business.
Dave enjoyed learning and thrived on creative projects that challenged him to
think outside the box. Dave was a very kind, generous and caring individual who
loved spending time with his family. He was always willing to help others out
and lend an ear when needed. For these and many other reasons, he will be
missed.
Survivors include, his wife, Janice "Jan" Schreiner, Wausau; two sons, Greg
Schreiner, Germantown and Kevin (Traci) Schreiner, Athens; two grandchildren,
Makayla and Preston Schreiner, Athens; his parents, Andrew and Luella Schreiner,

sisters, Lynnette Malovrh, Sharon (Norman) Beran, Marianne (Dale) Literski and
Janet (Orville) Wickman, all of Athens; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Travis Schreiner; and his father-in-law,
John "Jack" Literski. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on
Monday, June 8, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Rev. Robert
Streveler will preside. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery,
Kronenwetter.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the church and again on
