Moore, Frank (25 NOV 1868 – 2 DEC 1946)
Frank Moore, age 78, of Ingram, died Monday morning, Dec. 2, 1946 at Sacred
Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, following several weeks of ill health.
Services were held Wednesday at Harland, Rev. Thorwald Hanson officiating at Our
Savior's Luther Church, with burial in the Hartland Cemetery.
Frank Moore was born Nov. 25, 1868, in Onalaska. He moved to Clark County, Wis.
when a young man, where he was associated with his brother-in-law, A.V. Bass. He
was a pioneer lumberman.
He married Mrs. Anna Block in 1895 and moved to Ingram in 1906, living there
until the death of Mrs. Moore, Nov. 8, 1945. They celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary in April 1945.
Survivors include two children, Mrs. Lawrence Markison of Eau Claire and Mrs.
Irving Iverson of Oconomowoc; two step-children, Mrs. Anna Kipp, Eau Claire, and
Charles Block, Chicago; three grandchildren, Marjorie Iverson, Iowa City, Iowa,
Lowell Odegard, Eau Claire, and Chas. Block Jr., Milwaukee, and two
great-grandchildren, Karl and Sally Block, Milwaukee. A daughter, Mildred,
preceded him in death about 15 years ago.
