Among those graduating May 29, 1966 from Wis. State University at River Falls is
a student from Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
Carl T. Rowan, journalist and former diplomat, will be the speaker at the 88th
annual commencement ceremonies Sunday, May 29 at 2 p.m. in Kargas Center on the
River Falls Campus.
Patricia (Mrs. Julian) Misener, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Phillips of
Withee, will receive the B.S. degree in elementary education, with a major in
elementary music. She has accepted a position as kindergarten teacher in the
Darien Elementary School.
Mrs. Misener is a member of the Student National Education Association for
Childhood Education, and Music Educator National Conference, the University
Concert Choir, and the Lutheran Student Association.
