Cpl. Arthur "Skip" Klabon arrived at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Klabon, Friday, June 14, 1966, after having spent 13 months with the
Marines overseas and in Vietnam. Marine Klabon served with the third Division,
Co. B, 1st Tank battalion, and has seen much fighting and participated in a lot
of action. Leaving Vietnam on June 19 he arrived in El Toro Friday the 24th and
flew directly to Minneapolis, where he caught a bus home to Withee (Clark Co.,
Wis.). His parents were surprised, as they knew nothing of his arriving until he
was here.
Cpl. Klabon will be home to enjoy a 30 day leave, plus traveling time, and will
report Aug. 1 to Ft. Lejeune, N.C.
