Hahm, William M. "Bill" (8 DEC 1921 – 16 JUN 2015)

William M. "Bill" Hahm, 93, Chili, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Neillsville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, with Rev. Mark Krueger officiating. Burial will take place in Lincoln-Rock Cemetery in the Town of Rock, Clark County, where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 153 of Pittsville. The visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 am until service time at Rembs Funeral Home.

William was born on December 8, 1921 in Rockford, IL. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II serving from December 14, 1942 until his honorable discharge on December 31, 1945. He married Anne R. K. Smith on September 21, 1946 in Marshfield.

The Hahm's had farmed in the Town of Lynn until their retirement.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 153 of Pittsville for over 50 years.

Bill is survived by his wife Anne and their children, Freddie (Carol) Hahm of Chili, Louanne (Jerry) Flink of Colby, and Suzanne (Richard) Forst of Stratford. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, a grandson, Thomas Hahm, a great grandson Joshua McGrath, a sister and 2 brothers.

Memorials may be designated in his name to the High Ground Veterans Memorial Park.
