Cieslik, Martha E. (4 MAR 1912 – 22 JUN 1966)

Funeral services were conducted Saturday for Mrs. John Cieslik, 54, of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen. Officiating at the services were Rev. Robert Goessling of United Church of Christ, Owen. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers at the service were Tobey Kangas, Joe Milewski, Elmer Venet, Peter Jensen, Matt Bombach and Bruno Jarocki.

Mrs. Cieslik passed away at 1 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 1966 at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield where she had been a patient since May 7.

The former Martha Elizabeth Kujala was born March 4, 1912 in Wisconsin. Her marriage to John Cieslik, who preceded her in death in 1964, took place July 1, 1929 in Chicago. The couple had farmed near Withee until the death of Mr. Cieslik. Since then Mrs. Cieslik had made her home in the village of Withee.

Survivors are two sons, Robert, Stratford; and Phillip, Mosinee; three daughters, Mrs. Randall (Irene) Ryll, and Mrs. Edwin (Dorothy) Zawadski, both of Withee; and Susan, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ott, Chicago and Mrs. Irene Rhoda, Whitney, Tex.; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons and two brothers.
