Schiszik, Joseph #2 (25 MAR 1885 – 13 AUG 1966)
Funeral services for Joseph Schiszik, 81, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2
o'clock from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home, Owen. Robert Rupish of the
Jehovah Witnesses officiated at the service, with burial being made in Pine Hill
Cemetery at Curtiss.
Acting as pallbearers were Floyd, LaVern and Lawrence Klemetson, Ervin Drost,
and Earl and Allen Schiszik.
The deceased died Saturday morning at the home of a sister, Mrs. Kate Klemetson
of rural Curtiss, where he made his home. He was born March 25, 1885 in the town
of Harrison, Calumet Co., Wis., and had worked as a farm laborer and at the Owen
Canning Company for many years. He was unmarried.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Kate Klemetson, Curtiss and Mrs. Art (Anna)
Schoen, Milwaukee.
