Douglas Matthias, Norfolk, Va. Returned to his home Saturday after spending the past two weeks visiting his grandmother, Mrs. F.H. Matthias. On Monday, Aug. 15 he will return to his work as an accountant at Charlotte, N.C.

Mrs. Helen Luedtke is visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs. Otto Wilde at Rib Falls this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Schultz, Brookings, S.D.; Mrs. Amanda Virch, Peshtigo; Miss Bertha Schultz, Milwaukee; Clifford Virch, Oconto; were guests at the home of Mrs. Ann Tonn this past week. They also attended the Schultz-Kraut wedding Saturday.

Among the guests from away who came to attend the Schultz-Kraut wedding Saturday were guests of relatives here, were Mrs. Emma Pagel and Ed Kind, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Pagel, New Holstein; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Zuelke and son; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bentley and son of Madison; Mr. and Mrs. James Cattanach and family of Menomonee, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kraut and family, St. Paul, Minn.; and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kind, Greenwood.

Miss Bertha Kraut accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kraut and family to Minneapolis, Minn., where she will visit for some time.

Ollie and Ted Peissig of Minneapolis, Minn. visited relatives here the past weekend.

David Schultz, graduate student at Purdue University, Lafayette, Ind., arrived at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schultz Friday. He came to serve as one of the attendants at the wedding of his cousin, Albert Schultz and Bunee Kraut Saturday.

Mike and Richard Dollar and Wm. Hill of Seminole, Okla.; David Schultz of Ripon; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schultz and family of Colby, were Sunday dinner guests at the Delmar Augustine home.

Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Rasch left Sunday for West Palm Beach, Fla., where they will visit relatives for several weeks.

There will be no services at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Sunday, Aug. 21.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Klocke and family of Wis. Rapids were guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Klocke Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Thompson spent the weekend with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Graham and family at Spooner, where they are enjoying an outing.

Harvey Rosenquist and daughter, Joyce and Judy of Waukegan, Ill. came to attend the Schultz-Kraut wedding Saturday. They were guests at the Clarence Schultz home and returned home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. W. Geary and Dorothy drove to Lake Breeze Resort, Three Lakes Sunday to spend the day with mrs. Marth Harmel, who is employed there.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rohland and family and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rohland and daughter, Linda, of Withee, attended the fifty-eight annual summer commencement of the Wis. State University at Stevens Point Saturday, Aug. 6 at 10 a.m. Mrs. George Fijalkiewicz (Emily Rohland) of Greenwood received her bachelor of science degree, graduating with honor. Richard P. Bailey, president, Northland College, Ashland, gave the commencement address.

Mrs. A.M. Erickson underwent surgery at Luther Hospital in La Crosse for gallstones, August 3. She is reported to be recuperating nicely.

Misses Sandy Rohland and Sharon Reinke Gillette spent the weekend at the former's home. They have just completed their summer session at the University of Wisconsin, Marshfield.
