The old Colby deport, constructed about 1880, was moved this week to the north
end of the city where it will become the home of the Clark County Historical
Society Museum.
Florence Garbush, president, said total costs of the project will exceed
$10,000. Items in the building will include a variety of dairy and railroading
artifacts.
The depot, donated to the society by the Soo Line Railroad Co., was one of the
first and most important of the old Central Wisconsin Railroad Co.
