Kacer, Mitchel V. (25 FEB 1952 – 16 JUN 2015)
Mitchell V. Kacer, 63, Spencer, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Ministry
Saint Jo-seph’s Hospital, Marshfield, as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Funeral serviceswere held at 1 p.m., on Monday, June 22, at Christ Lutheran
Church, Marshfield. Rev.Daryn Bahn officiated. Burial took place in Hillside
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joshua Krause, Joel Krause, Adam Krause, David Kloehn, Zach
Genke and Riley Genke.
Mitchell was born on Feb. 25, 1952, in Milwaukee, to Joyce (nee Jacoby) Kacer
Baxter. He was a 1971 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He married Betty
J. Goodbrand on June 24, 1988, in Marshfield. Mitch was employed at Marshfield
Doors Systems until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle
riding, birdwatching and especially his family.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, Marshfield; his stepson, David Kloehn, Marshfield;
his sisters, Karen Mellenthin, Marshfield, and Carla (Bruce) Paszkiewicz,
Neillsville; and one niece, three nephews, two great-nieces and four
great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother and stepfather, Joyce and E.C. Baxter.
