Shotsberger, Ella (25 March 1881 - 12 November 1973)
A Neillsville native, mrs. Ella Shotsberger of Chicago, died November 12, at
Elmhurst Intensive Care Center, Elmhurst, Il., at the age of 92.
Mrs. Shotsberger was born March 25, 1881, in Neillsville to Darl and Hannah
(Martin) Neverman. Her marriage to David N. “Toby” Shotsberger took place June
21, 1930, in Maywood, Il. he died November 19, 1969. A former resident of
Farmington, Il., and Mrs. Shotsberger was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of
Canton, the American Legion Auxiliary of Farmington and the Grandmothers’ Club
of Farmington.
Surviving are two sons, Harold Dean of Chicago and Carl Dean of Kalamazoo, Mi.;
two daughters: Mrs. Marvin (Betty) Dietzler of Wheaton and Mrs. Lucian (Helen)
Krantz of Chicago; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
