Greenwood (22 November 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tolaney returned Tuesday evening after a five-day visit with their children and other relatives in Lyons, Il., Racine and Milwaukee.

Sunday evening visitors at the home of Mrs. Carl Stabnow were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Syth and daughter, Elizabeth, of Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kuester and children, Delores and Billy, visited Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Johnson in West Salem.

Mr. and Mrs. John Jakobi spent several days recently in Milwaukee at the home of their son, Harry Jakobi, and family.

Thomas Erickson, who was a patient for three weeks at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, was dismissed Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart attended the wedding of Diane looker and Paul Abley Saturday in Owen.

The Rev. Ethel Nulton of Waupaca, former pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, arrived Wednesday to visit friends in Greenwood and vicinity.

Mr. and Mrs. Orv Matzke of Wausau, Mrs. Veda Mertens of Stanley and Mrs. William Cantera of Owen were dinner guests at the Wilbur Stewart home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Noah and son, Ned, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noah, visited Sunday in Cochrane with Emil’s brother, Oscar Noah, and with his nephew, Orlin Noah, at Buffalo City.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gregorich, Sr., have returned after a 10-day trip to Kimball, neb., where they visited their son, William Gregorich, and family, and at Bernard, Ia., where they visited other relatives.
