Pajak, Jerome (21 MAY 1940 – 15 APR 1968)

Funeral services for Jerome Pajak, 27, who passed away April 15th, 1968 at his home, were held April 19, 1968 at St. Hedwig’s Chapel. Rev. Edward Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. service, with burial being made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Stanley Lendosky, Joe Lato, Anton Pajak, Victor Wojt, John P. Badzinski and LaVerne Niesius.

Jerome was born May 21, 1940, at Evanston, Ill. He attended Reseburg Public School, St. Hedwig’s grad school, Thorp High School, and 1 years attended Stout State College, Menomonie. He served in the Air Force from 1960 – 1964, worked as a carpenter in Arizona, becoming ill in February 1967, and was hospitalized at Luther Hospital, and was under doctors care for some time. April 1st he went to Chicago where he was employed.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pajak; three brothers, Joseph of Evanston, Ill., John in the Navy on Simon Lake near Scotland, James at home; seven sisters, Jean of Evanston, Ill., Joanne of Chicago, (Justine) Mrs. John Badzinski Jr. of Minneapolis, Janet, Joyce, Jacqueline and Juliann at home.
