J. Peter Bartl, son of Mrs. Amy M. Bartl, 306 West Main Street, Thorp (Clark
Co.), Wis. is scheduled to receive a bachelor’s degree on June 9, 1968 at the
119th commencement exercises of Lawrence University, Appleton, Wis.
The class of 280 will receive its degrees in an outdoor ceremony in the Lawrence
Bowl. Commencement speaker is Dr. Carl Wellman, who holds the Claflin-Ingraham
Professorship in philosophy.
Bartl, a member of the 3-2 program in Engineering at Lawrence, a five year plan
of study, combining a liberal arts program with professional training in
engineering, will receive a B.A. degree from Lawrence and a B.S. degree from
M.I.T in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Management.
