James Tracy is here from Detroit for a visit with relatives.
Mrs. Shuttie has received a letter from her son, Albert, stating that he had
arrived safely in France.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Remus returned Tuesday evening from an auto trip to Lake Mills,
where they spent two weeks visiting relatives.
Mrs. Harold Bullard returned yesterday from a visit at Oxford to spend a few
days here before returning home.
J.L. Neverman has a barrel placed in his store for the depositing of fruit pits
and shells needed in the making of gas masks.
The Ladies Aid Society meets in the parlors of the Methodist Church next
Wednesday afternoon. Mesdames Devos, Griffith, Richardson and Kleckner will
serve.
Walter Pierce and wife came up from Waupun last week to spend a few days with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Wenzel.
Ernest Wicker and family and Mrs. Henry and son, Francis, autoed down from Colby
Friday and spent a short time with Miss Sue Henry.
