East Weston and West York (3 Oct 1918)
The Ladies Aid Society met at the Sidney Morse home last week Thursday.
Mrs. Della Armitage visited at the Clifford Nutting home in Loyal last Friday
and Saturday.
Paul Brussow’s crew raised Hallie Stockwell’s barn last week. It is a plank
frame.
R.B. Armitage and family took an auto trip through the north end of the county
Saturday.
Carl Runge has a new tractor.
Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Hauser autoed to Heintown last Thursday to see their daughter,
Mrs. John Schmidt.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hannah received word from their son, Ernest, that the training
camp where he is stationed, is under quarantine, so the trip to Kansas City has
been postponed.
Mrs. C.E. Demouth of Loyal is a guest of the W.J. Armitage home this week.
