Tioga (3 Oct 1918)
Mrs. A.E. Cole and daughter, Lottie, called on Mrs. John Swanson Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Ripplinger and family visited at the Palms home Sunday.
Mrs. G.W. Harrison and son left here Saturday for their home in Ashland.
The young folks of Tioga, Clark and Helen Wilcox and the Misses Smith of
Greenwood, A. Beiling of Chili, Andrew Wightman of Neillsville and Mr. Markham
and daughter of Augusta spent Sunday evening at the W. Bedell home. The evening
was spent in dancing and all report a fine time.
W.E. Palms and Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Church and daughters, Laura and Hazel, autoed
to Greenwood Thursday.
W.E. Palms made a trip to Neillsville Friday.
W.E. Palms went to Beloit Saturday.
There will be a dance in the R.D. Ingham store Saturday evening. All proceeds go
to the Red Cross. Everyone come and help the boys “over there.”
Mr. Markum and daughter, Elsie, came Saturday morning to visit at the E. Flick
home.
W.A. Bedell took in the Augusta Fair Tuesday.
Mrs. W.E. Church called on Mrs. H. Hoganson Sunday.
Mrs. W.E. Palms was on the sick list last week.
W.E. Church went to Greenwood Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. George Boyer and Mrs. Eugene Palms spent last week with friends and
relatives in Fairchild and Augusta.
Grandma Palms spent Saturday with her son, Jess Palms.
