East Lynn (10 Oct 1918)
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grottke last Wednesday, a daughter. The mother and
little one are doing nicely under the care of Mrs. Anna Reisner, their nurse.
Fred has also somewhat recovered from the shock and no doubt will soon be
passing around cigars among his many friends and neighbors.
John Bushey, manager of the Bushey Business College of Appleton, drove through
here last Friday with his auto enroute for Grand Rapids. The writer acknowledges
a pleasant call.
